海外华人理事会(The Council of Overseas Chinese Services (COCS), Inc)是于2005年在纽约成立的一家已向官方登记注册并基于501(C)3条款并分别在纽约州(2005年),加州(2008年)和德州(2016年)取得了免税号的非营利性组织,旨在联合不同专业、不同背景、不同社会地位的海外华人,发挥集体的力量,达到三个目标:1、促进各界对中国及海外华人社区对教育,健康,经济和法律问题的关注;2、通过增强海外华人的社会技能、向他们提供社会资源的方式,提高他们的生活质量;3、促进世界对中国教育,健康,科技,经济和文化的了解。海外华人理事会现在服务纽约州,加州和德州地区。

The Council of Overseas Chinese Services (COCS), Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization founded in New York City, U.S.A. in 2005. COCS is established on independence and self-governance of Chinese young professionals from diverse backgrounds and locations. Currently we are servicing New York and California bay area.
Our Mission
- - Unite grass-root and professional power of overseas Chinese to promote critical thinking on social and legal healthiness concerning China and overseas Chinese communities;
- - Improve the quality of life of Overseas Chinese by providing access to services, skills and resources toward the goal of self sufficiency and integration into the overseas mainstream society;
- - Enhance the world's profound understanding of Chinese art & culture in Overseas.
Our Services
In order to fulfill the mission, COCS has been devoted to two main services for the public:
- Local Services: Organizing or sponsoring various events for Chinese communities in the U.S. The landmark events reported by the media in the past 5 years include, but are not limited to, “Free Legal Panel: How Can Graduating International Students or Current Foreign Employees Obtain Legal Immigration Status In the Downturn Economy?” in New York City and San Francisco; “Rally for Peace, the Olympics, and Fair Media”; “Memorial Rally for the 1937 Nanjing Massacre”.
- China Project: Providing free education to migrant workers in China so as to improve their awareness of their legitimate rights and self-protection.
